University Applications

At Oakley Tutors, we understand that university applications can be a daunting process for students aiming to secure their desired higher education opportunities. That's why we offer specialised support to help students navigate through the complexities of the university application process. Our team of experienced and highly-qualified tutors, some of whom have successfully gained entry into prestigious universities like Oxbridge, are well-equipped to guide and mentor students on their path to university admissions success.

Our expert tutors can provide personalised guidance on every aspect of the application, including selecting the right courses, crafting compelling personal statements, and preparing for challenging interviews. With their first-hand experience and insider knowledge, our tutors are able to offer valuable advice, tips, and strategies to maximize the chances of securing admission to top-tier universities.

Through one-on-one tutoring sessions, our tutors work closely with students to understand their goals, strengths, and aspirations. They create tailored plans to address any knowledge gaps, develop essential academic skills, and boost overall application quality. With Oakley Tutors' support, students can confidently navigate the competitive university admissions process and increase their chances of obtaining offers from their dream universities, just as our tutors have done in the past.

Zac just graduated from Christ Church, Oxford with a Congratulatory Double First Class degree in Classics, coming first in his year; He is set to commence the BPhil in Philosophy this October. Thriving in the collaborative atmosphere of the tutorial system has made him passionate about sharing this kind of experience with my own students and nurturing their interest in a subject rather than just encouraging rote learning. He tries to connect what he is teaching with the 'big picture' so that even the minutiae of grammar can become exciting! Over the past 5 years he has helped students with scholarship (Winchester and Eton) and Oxbridge (one Oxford, one Cambridge, both successful), admissions as well as working towards the major public exams.
